Most of you visiting this blog already know me but for the few of you that have stumbled upon this and haven’t a clue: I’m an old guy, 50, who likes to design, modify, and create things. I have a beautiful family consisting of a wife and three kids. I am a freelance Illustrator and designer and since times are a bit hard I also work maintenance for a condo on the beach. I was saved by the power, grace and mercy of God through faith in the atoning sacrificial work of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and my only hope for salvation from God’s wrath (as God is Holy and Just and I am a sinner). Thankfully I have been saved and secured, trusting in Christ’s righteousness and sacrifice and am attempting to live a life that glorifies God.

The 1965 project is a way for me to build a car for my daughter and use the talents God has given me. For whatever reason, I find great satisfaction in restoring, modifying, and creating. I am particularly fascinated with metalworking. So this project gives me the opportunity to do all those things abundantly.

I think it’s great that she will be working on it as well!

I normally scan the arty blogs and rarely visit the world of cars but your photos of the mustang project are so wonderful, I could imagine them as large oily abstracts. I did a spot of welding at art school so I really admire your skills in this area. Best of luck and a beautiful blog. Cheers Sue
